The Adult Development Center (ADC) is designed to serve individuals 18 years of age and older with intellectual and or developmental disabilities who may require assistance with acquisition, retention, or improvement in self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills. Most of the scheduled activities will take place in the community in partnership with several civic non-profit groups and local businesses. To provide the safest and most inclusive experience possible during daily social, recreational, or volunteer activities the Adult Development Center Program will provide services at 1:3 staff to participant ratio.

Each participant has an assigned direct support professional who is responsible for the coordination of his/her individual service plan. Services include the following:

• Advocacy
• Skill Development
• Daily Activity Choices
• Community Integration
• Health and Safety
• Emotional Support
