For over 65 years, The Arc South Bay has taken the lead in providing person centered services, basic living skills, growth in the community, and work service support. A private, not for profit organization, The Arc South Bay is a local chapter of the state and national Arc’s.

The Arc South Bay is supported through fees for service, donations from care providers, friends, service organizations, and the community.

As advocates, The Arc South Bay believes that all people have the right to pursue a full life, the right to become a productive member of the community in which they live, and the right to share meaningful daily experiences.

The Arc South Bay is a membership organization, governed by a Board of Directors. A paid staff of 34 runs the day-to-day operations of the agency.
